Membership Definitions:

Youth – ages 3 to 13 at time of signup.  Will be able to use the pool and racquetball courts.  May be able to use weight room at age 12 if they pass Kids On Weights and a parent accompanies them on Friday evening, Saturday, or Sunday only.  If unable to swim, must be accompanied in pool.

High School – Ages 14 to 18, or enrolled in high school at the time of signup (or on summer break and will enter high school in the fall).  Seniors who have graduated from high school may not purchase a high school.  Will be able to use all parts of the facility, including aerobic classes.

Leader –person age 60 or greater at time of enrollment.  No children may be part of the membership.  Will be able to use all parts of the facility, including aerobic classes.

Co-leader – two persons, both age 60 or greater at time of enrollment, living at the same address.  No children may be part of the membership.  Will be able to use all parts of the facility, including aerobic classes.

Individual – also called single.  Age 18 through 59 (unless still in high school or enrolled at UWR).   No children may be part of the membership.  Will be able to use all parts of the facility, including aerobic classes.

Single Parent – also called solo-parent.  One adult and any number of their children (including those whom they have guardianship over – must show legal guardianship forms) ages high school age and younger who live at the same address.  Children in a single parent membership who have graduated high school continue on this membership through that summer until Labor Day.  Does not apply to grandchildren, nieces, etc unless formal guardianship is established.     On occasion, a married couple with children under age 18 will have just one adult use SRC, and in that circumstance a solo parent membership might be best.

Family – Two adults living at the same address, plus any number of their children (including those whom they have guardianship over – must show legal guardianship forms) ages high school age and younger who live at the same address.  Children in a family membership who have graduated high school continue on this membership through that summer until Labor Day.  Does not apply to grandchildren, nieces, etc unless formal guardianship is established.     Two adults living at the same address without children counts as a family membership.

Family Plus program – Same as the family membership, but allow for extra adult person(s) once ALL these conditions are met:

  • The “plus 1, 2, or 3” person(s) must be a child of at least one of the adults on the membership.
  • The “plus 1, 2, or 3” person(s) must not have reached age 24 when they sign up for the membership.
  • The “plus 1, 2, or 3” person(s) must have the same address as the two primary adults on the membership.  This must be verified by the receptionist who must see the drivers license of the “plus 1, 2, or 3” person
